96% of our membership has demanded an end to stalling tactics from NYU administration. After 10 months of bargaining, we set a strike deadline. NYU refused to make significant movement on our demands and graduate workers at NYU went on strike at 12:00 AM ETA on Monday, April 26th.
Know what graduate workers are fighting for and how the strike will affect you. Should faculty grade our papers? What do we tell our students? What is in the contract? Can NYU afford it?
In solidarity means many minds working together. Individual efforts make a difference! See how you can take action today to let NYU know you support the Graduate Worker Strike.
Whether in person or online, a strike is an active effort! Stay informed on our latest bargaining and strike efforts by following our social media, subscribing to our calendar, and watching for our emails.
