Solidarity with NYU’s clerical, technical, and administrative support staff- UCATS!

GSOC is only one of many unions at NYU fighting for the rights and dignity of its workers. We acknowledge and support the great work of UCATS, an allied union that represents many vital workers on campus.

In particular, we stand in solidarity with their struggles to bargain over undue and unjust changes to the working conditions of library staff. As students and as instructors, we value and recognize these workers as the vital front lines of NYU’s academic production. We call on NYU to adhere to the law and enter bargaining with UCATS as mandated by the NLRB.

We further urge GSOC members and allies to sign UCATS’ petition calling for the same.
