TOMORROW, Thursday, 9/16 from 11:45-12:30pm in front of Bobst Library

Please join us and grad union members from Yale, Stonybrook and elsewhere, as we call on the NYU administration to respect our democratic majority and our rights!  Representatives of the UAW and members of the adjunct union, ACT-UAW Local 7902, will also be on hand to declare their support for GSOC/UAW Local 2110 – the union for graduate employees at NYU!

WHAT: Rally for Our Rights!

WHEN: Thursday, September 16 from 11:45-12:30pm

WHERE: Front of Bobst Library, 70 Washington Square South

WHY: Just like our colleagues at elite public research universities – including the University of California at Berkeley and the University of Michigan – we have the right to form a union of our own!

Once again, we, the majority of NYU graduate employees, have chosen GSOC/UAW to represent us in collective bargaining with the NYU administration over workplace issues that pertain to us all – including our rates of pay and and the content and quality of our health benefits.

Without a GSOC/UAW Local 2110 contract, the university administration can make unilateral changes to our working conditions at any time. 

Tell the NYU administration to respect your work and your union, GSOC/UAW Local 2110!  Come out to Bobst tomorrow!
